Brendan Cormier doesn’t have a driving licence, yet he’s the first curator to put on a show about automobiles in the 167-year history of the V&A.

His new exhibition, Cars: Accelerating the Modern World, runs until 19 April 2020, and investigates these unique machines that revolutionised personal transport in the 20th century, driving fundamental societal, industrial and cultural change.
